Fitted my towbar on my freelander today went on like a dream.now the wiring is different issue.

It came with thr landrover edition wiring so it has a white plug on the end which im told plugs straight in to the freelander.

Problem.ive removed all boot panels and cant find any plugs or any wire that look like theyve been meesed with in the past.

Can anybody post pictures of where it is or tell me where i should find this plug in the boot.

on the rear the drivers side

where you've taken off the back side panel it is sometimes tucked behind the metal body of the car

if u have a look on this link it shows a pic of the connector and location

got to do mine later

plus have u fitted the later hella relay , so it sorts out the flasher rate and also a small icon should come up on ur dashboard

Ive got relay that plugs in. I got it all off ebay.and it all genuine landrover. Towbar plug wite and white plug it also has the annoying beeper relay flash relay that connects to it

Genuine Land Rover trailer socket doesn't have a relay/buzzer in the loom. You change the main flasher relay and then the telltale on the dash lights up.
