Hello all, new to landrover but had a few 4x4's before.

Now have a 110 td and proud as punch :)

One problem (well the first to get sorted) My tow bar, it has the adjusting plate, on the bottom holes is 7" too high for my ifor williams trailer which seems to be looking for about 19" hight from the deck.

I think the 110 is sitting very high (may have a lift kit, how do you tell  ) so how do I get the tow ball down to the hight needed to get the front wheels of my trailer on the ground ?????

A very happy 110 owner ;)

I take it you have a dixon and bate type drop hitch on your landy judging by the fact you said it is on the lowest setting. I had the same problem with my 110 when I tried towing a twin axle caravan. I bought a 6" drop plate from a company called towsure (they are on the net) for about £7. It bolts to the hole where your actual towball is and then your towball bolts to the bottom of it 6 inches lower than before. simple but effective. (my caravan weighs 1500kg) It should sort you out too.
