Hi group hope you can help. I recently purchased an range rover evoque dynamic sd4. 2011. Randomly I will get in the car and press start/stop. The car just dies total loss of power like the battery has been disconnected. Even the central locking fails. If I pop the bonnet open and shut it again the power comes back on.....so weird but I need to know what it is. Any help please guys.

Hi, you wont find much assistance on here, as we generall only discuss real Range Rovers , and consider the Evoke a Joke, sorry.

The only good ejoke is a dead ejoke.

Some will try to help , but this is a Range Rover forum, so little experience of the ejoke. Someone's wife's got one but can't remember who. Might be @kds ?

P.s Merry Christmas, next year ask Santa for a Range Rover

I think it’s a FreeLander with wrong badge to upscale the brand and sell with hype. If you look at typical Ejoke owner they fit the Freelanderer bill pretty accurately.

Could try asking in hairdresser section?

Could it be an immobiliser fault? Sounds like it needs investigating by someone with laptop diagnostics.

You lot are mean. But out of interest is a whole better or worse than a gaylander in terms of shame of ownership?

We help gaylanderers.

Does that answer your question?

Only ejoking, if I knew anthing boot them I would help but I only do Landies.

Too late , lol
