I've had a look at the Devon difinitive map and all the byways I've got down are on there. I'm going to check highways agency tomorrow for the other routes.

I have got a few lanes in Stokeinteignhead mapped if they are close to the route.
That would be good I've got us starting at combeinteignhead and heading toward Stokeinteignhead and then over to Kingskerswell and then basically keep following the other routes lanes toward Totnes. Then it's off toward Ashburton where the Byways are that are on the definitive map. And then north east Dartmoor (Bovey area). Any routes you have done before would be good. I'll see if I can save the route and get it over to you to have a look

Have you got the route on Multimap?

Got it on memorymap. Just pieced it together and is 43.5km for the morning run. If you got a copy of memorymap can e-mail it over

Got two routes planned now one for Torbay area and the other around Bovey and Moretonhampstead. Both routes I've done on memory map so those that would be coming if you pm your e-mail I can post you the route's to have a look at. Any feed back on these would be appreciated. We can extend the Torbay one if needed.

Hey guys I'll post this here cause your probs the people that would be interested..... Me and a few friends are going to the pay and play at trago on Sunday 12th. 10-3:30 if anyone's interested....? Let me know cheers

Looks like I am not going to make it this weekend. Parts still not arrived for the Disco. Many apologies.
Hopefully we can rearrange for a weekend in March.

yup me too, im out.

Sorry, need to re organise this though.

Just got back from two days laning. Torbay route was longer and more interesting than expected but didn't find a lane that was impassible. I've got less paint but never mind. Badger is right funny angles are on the cards down there and also turning the Landie into a tripod. At 6 Me and the Wife went for dinner then off to camp. Day two Dartmoor and they were much easier. Not as scrathey or angled. Fingle bridge was a good climb as were a couple of the other's. Only one lane that I couldn't drive and thats because the Lane has a 4'3" width restriction. But all in all a good couple of days. Maybe next time it will work out for a group run.
Couple of pics

nice piccies Xan. Looks like you had a good day.

We definitely need to sort this out for another time.

Did you do Fleet Mill lane?

There are some fabulous lanes down there and I can't wait to do them again. So we must make it a weekend in March.

Was good and found a cheap but not very good alternative to sand paper.

That was tame compared to one byway where niether Myself or partner could get out.

Didn't do Fleet mill. Stuck to the route I sent you. Started at 11 ish stoped for a cup of tea and weetabix at about 1 and finished about half 5. Then off for dinner.
Would do it again but would add Fleet mill and another three lanes that would make the route just a bit longer and then definitely a full days drive.

Fleet mill is narrow in places but a nice long lane with lots of ups and downs. Bit like the pictures above.
Needs regular use to keep the sides back as mountain bikers are useless at it. :D :D
