Right then folks, has anyone ever followed TOR's roadbooks, now at this point most people will begin to yawn, as i have in the past as there a bit on the tame side, yawn, yawn,... But wait a mo, the other day whilst on my hols i decided to give one a go out of boredom, and what a shock i got... It did read NOT SUTIBLE FOR SOFT ROADERS, mmm' i thought must be a cattle grid or something, but i must say that there Church Sttreton road book did give me some plesant suprises, and i had a good days laning and even did not even finish the route by half past eight at night, as did not think it was wise to continue alone through farm yards and upset people, in general a fair part of the route could be done in a car, but take heed, they got it right in fairness with don't take your standard softroader, but be aware there tulips often **** up and there millages well we will say no more on that, TAKE THE RELEVENT MAPS dont rely on there route info to allways be right, i have put some pics below just to wet your appertites, couldnt take photos of the tricky stuff as i was driving, soz....

Where is this route... if its not too far away from us in Bedforshire, I could think of a couple of laners who would really enjoy hooking up with you.

TOR roadbooks are pretty good. your right though, some of the tulips are wayyy out! take the right maps. ive plotted this route on memory-map if anyone is interested... you will have to twist my arm though ;) pikey, this is the route i sent to you today.

The lanesare in Shropshire.

The hole on top of the Long Mynd will be filled in a week or so, some CRAG members are doing it.

The lane in pics 1 and 2 is know for smashing Disco rear side windows.

sorry to disapoint you paul, my disco windows made it through intact, mind you i had to go nice and easy and lean on some trees with the side slope and mud.. like i said i don;t often do TOR roadbooks as i find them a bit dull but this one was worth doing...

I know those lanes...

I burst the nearside airbag on my TD5 going up that lane in the second picture. It's quite a tricky climb due to the deep rut on the one side screwing with your grip and there's a couple of tree roots that'll catch you out... three people in our group lost thier rear windows on that lane (Pic 6.)... (kinda lucky for me that I'd ditched the broken TD5 at that stage and jumped in with a defender!) shout up if you want the mmo.

Paul, the last pic is the top section of the window breaker... it starts by driving over the corner of some guy's driveway..

Wrong the last pic is the second lane if you follow the route up into the forest where a lot of felling has been done, i had to cut my way up this one as there was a lot of fallen trees on that bit, hard work on your own all day..
