Hello Everyone,

I'm new here, and wondered if anyone knows if a standard glass tailgate is the same size as one I require for my recently bought K reg Range Rover LSE 110.

Any advice appreciated!!

Hi,

I have a '93 LSE and can confirm it is the standard top tailgate.

If you are thinking about fitting an afermarket aluminium tailgate, keep this in mind:

1. They flex more than the OE steel so can pop loose at times if not tweeked.
2. They are much lighter so don't have the same feel.
3. They aren't much cheeper and the steel will last at least 10-15 years.

also i found that the bottom rubber lip seal would not fit properly either unless i trimmed it , this i was reluctant to do
