...as they were so rotten they flexed and crunched when you stood on them.

Had to cut off the driver's side steps as the bolts were just spinning. It took longer to get the brackets on the chassis off than the steps. All done now and the car looks better without them IMO.

With the weight loss and improvement to aerodynamics, I should get an extra 0.1mph out of it at full chat and use 0.1 litre of petrol less every hundred miles...:D Also looks like a goodly bit of extra ground clearance...

So, should the bolt holes in the chassis have a bolt or rubber grommet in them if no steps are fitted: or do a just leave them open to encourage air circulation within the chassis rail?

Cheers,

Malcolm

Good man. Rangies look **** with side steps on. Leaving them open will also encourage water circulation. I would stick bolts in with a bit of copaslip grease on the threads.

Use the holes to squirt copious amounts of Waxoil in:)

depends on the woman wammers

Sure does. But i would suggest that Kate Middleton would get far more attention paid to her if she walked down the street in her bra and panties than she would wearing a full length donkey jacket and sun glasses.:D:D:D

oh yes she would (im having visions) but if she was 70 and had left her teeth at home?????

No Sean we are talking usable ladies here. OK maybe i should have said SOME women. Hows that. And the one i mentioned is very usable in my view.
