Sorry Matthew, I said i would text you my mobile.
Should be going somewhere on Thursday night, keep an eye (or subscribe) to the Essex lanes & Suffolk lanes threads, most of the meets are arranged there.

Glad your getting all ur jobs all done - a lot quicker than me!!!!!

Work has been quiet so I've been making myself "useful" elsewhere.

Annoyingly the regular job I have at the moment is from 6 till 9 every weekday evening so this may affect times for off roading with you lot

I want to get under there in the summer june/july time and break out the waxoyl.

Seems fairly clean. I think (touch wood) the biggest job will be the rear door shuts where it rots on the top of the arch.

I will get round to waxoyl some time...

yeah the normal places for the rot.

Need the timing belt done on it too.

I've done transit engines before but the disco looks a little more tricky and I don't fancy it lol! :) Anyone local fancy doing it for some £££?

lol, you'll be lifting it soon.....

My wish list in order is:

Ext breathers
Snorkel
tank guard inc towbar
Spot lights
CB
Replacing the suspention (its already shot) with HD - but standard ht
rock sliders (to replace the steps)
HD bumper
Winch

Something went wrong. Driving back home from Martlesham and the radio went off along with the clock. Got home and the interior light didn't come on nor did the boot light.

I am guessing the fuse has blown in the satellite box. 20 amp one according to the book.

I knew I should have removed that pesky cable that was scotch locked onto a purple cable in the radio loom. I bet that's touched something and blew the fuse

Sound like the cause?

New 20 amp fuse and it's good again :D Just got to fix the spliced cable now that someone had put in and that should stop it from happening again.

Where is the best place to tap in a connection for a CB? I want permanent live really so I can use it without the keys in. Or am I best running a cable from the positive on the battery into the CB (with a fuse obviously)?

I got mine in the same place keeps it dry if you get a leaky door in big puddles, lol.

I got mine on the power for the sunroof as I ant got electric sunroofs so it off the ignition, if you want it on perm power, just run a single from a power source as you sugested.
