Good day All,
First and foremost, many thanks to all those who have posted many informative posts and info as it's made my decision a bit easier.
I've never owned a LR product before but have been behind the wheel of a few. In regards to Defender's, it was a friend who's father was/is quite passionate about all things LR and had a Defender or two, one of which I got to drive very briefly. This was back in Canada where I was born and raised.
Living now in the UK and in Cheshire, I've seen my fair share and started looking at sites like these, a few youtube channels etc. The interest kept growing! A few months ago I told myself I'd have one early next year once I'm a bit more settled etc.
Well, this past weekend I took part in the Land Rover Experience at Peckforton Castle in a Defender 110 with the hope I'd come away not wanting one. That was far from the case and today I purchased my very own Defender 90! Sadly, collection day isn't until Monday but this will give me time to sort out a few things with an importance placed on some of the security measures that are well documented here.
It's a 14 plate in Aintree green, wagon, XS. I'm both very excited to join the 'club' but to be honest, bricking it as it happened so quickly.
Hope to meet some locals if that is possible and get to grips with all that is Defender.
Thanks for reading!
p.s. Oliver is the name of my Morgan
