the sender is in the tdi, as it came from the disco. havn't got it running yet, but im not sure if my gauge is going to work or not.
 
Put some central heating sludge cleaner in the coolant and run it round the system for a few days before flushing. You'd be surprised what comes out.
 
might be worth checking the gague is the right one as i had a 200 tdi and bought a second hand temp gauge from a 2.5 na and it read that it was hot all the timer, changed the gauge and its all good now.
 
Me too, my TD gauge didn't work with the TDI (ran just under the red) so Mr Yella very kindly supplied a proper one and it now runs perfectly just under half.
 
is there any noticable temp difference between the top and bottom rad hose ? (after a 20 minutes hard run)
