Hi I’m trying to install a Tode Ai606T2 alarm into my defender Td5
The alarm is working fine however I cannot get the alarm to interface with land rovers central locking

The installation instructions give 6 options, I have tried every option and nothing works
When I plug back in the original alarm/central locking ECU which works the central locking I get the following voltages
The orange wire at rest – however when you unlock get a positive pulse
The pink wire at rest – however when you unlock get a positive pulse
The yellow wire Zero volts all the tine
Black wire is an earth
Can anyone advise as this is driving me crazy?
 
Sounds like single locking wire on the Yellow wire. However as i`m not in a position to check or test this if you try it do so at your own risk!! You will need the OE locking interfaced pluged in for it to work. From what you are saying the Orange and Pink wires are the motor wires and the yellow will be a signal wire. If you can wait till tomorrow i have a data base in work with the locking diagrames for all vehicles so can clarify it for you.

Looking at that diagram it looks like a 2 wire system, that means you need to cut the Pink and Orange at the OE unit and wire it as "additional motor locking" on the alarm, connecting to the Pink and Orange on the door side of the cut. (leaving 2 wires on the OE unit going no where!) The Yellow wire looks like the signal wire for switching the OE alarm on and off. I will double check for you tomorrow but that looks like the route i would take with that diagram

You need to cut the red wire...tick tock... Wait a minute, I mean the blue wire...tick tock..tick tock. No, its the red one...quick...do it now. Wait, not the red one, cut the blue one....BOOM :behindsofa:

I only wished I’II asked this morning instead of wasting nearly a full day
