Out of interest how much did you pay for it
I ask because I'm in two minds whether to sell my 2004 D2 V8
As a 3rd car it don't get used much but I do like it
Dilemma

Just like mine maybe... weekend use only, so 1247 miles for the last year between MOTs and 2011-12 year it was only 1024 but then it's only fuel, tax and insurance I have to pay for.:)

Mine is still on petrol but is used daily, just doesnt do many miles,8k in two years,I love it to drive as its a lot smoother and quieter than the Td5's,my other half was its main pilot but I have managed to regain control.......................for the minute !!

We use ours daily, have run up 60K miles in 4 years, I use it for company work as well as private stuff and the LPG is a 'must have' if you are running any decent mileage.

A good run every now and then is essential to get the moisture out of the exhaust silencers and to clear the cat's.

Just had a clutch fitted in ours last week, the new one we fitted with the engine started getting 'grabby', but it looked fine when we got it out :(

We run it on 255/65R16 Nexen Roadian A/T's, great car to go long distance in.

I paid £3700.00 for it. It is the D2 featured on the front cover and used in the August issue of Land Rover Monthly! It has had quite a few new parts fitted and has a full years MOT so I was prepared to pay around that figure.

August issue looks like its a fender on front cover, september shows an 02 plate Disco 2,is that the one ?

I just checked the date of the mag, it says August 2013 on the front cover left hand bottom corner, but September 2013 on page 3! it is a 02 plate Disco 2 with the heading "Disco Survival" above the photo.
