Just checked my tread on my tires and got a bit of a shock to see they were touching the "marker" showing them close to the limit. They looked to have plenty of tread on them to me but after having another look there appears to be two different markers at different heights. anyone have any ideas what this might be ?

Also my front LHS tire seems to be wearing a little quicker than the rest, anything to be concerned about.

Thanks in advance guys.

Legal limit is 1.6mm. Sorry but dont have a clue as to two markers or why LHS tyre wearing out more other that maybe tracking, shock or bearing issue.

If its wearing on the inner or outer edge its your tracking, if its all over i'd say check your tyre pressure.

Some european countries have a 3mm legal limit which is why some tyre manufacturers
put the wear pads at that level. A few manufacturers even do both levels but it's not common. Get yourself a tread depth gauge or better still a vernier caliper (which has many other uses as well).
