afternoon landyzone folks
new to site today & now have a second Question. 1st was on tyre sizes this morning.
Just bought an 05 Freelander TD4 Sport, manual with 102 000ish on the clock.
From what I'm reading on the web & here the TD4 has a timing chain not belt like I had thought. Can anyone give advise on when these need swapping or on anything must do's after the 100 000 mile mark. Other info - on start up it all sounds good no rattles, no reek out the back & what feels like plenty of pull under acceleration. All good stuff to me?
Also worth asking while here , what is the usual service interval for these vehicles.
It's not on the road yet am taking time to rid the beast of previous owner dog hair etc & get it shiny on the outside.
Cheers all M
