The track rod is the bar that runs behind the front axel attached by two balljoints on the rear of each hub this does not have bushes. The tie rod/panhard rod, the bar that goes from the drivers side just below the steering box accross (slightly in front of the front axel) to a bracket located near to the passenger side spring (nearer the passenger side) which has bushes at each end that should have no play in them at all.

I know what your thinking of , the channel section thats bolted to the diff . Its there to help reduce the track rod from bending . There is No bushes in it , as long as the track rod isnt rubbing hard on it dont worry about it.
I had to take mine off as i have fitted the heavy duty rods, shudnt have any problems should i?

Nope but still watch what you drive over tho , tree stumps love track rods and drag links
