What should the tickover be at idle from cold on my P38 V8 4.6.

Is there a simple adjustment I can do my self?

At the moment she ticks over at about 450!!!!!

I don't think this is correct.

Up to 99 700+- 20 rpm. 99 on 660 rpm. Not adjustable other than by test equipement.

Just took it to a garage they connected it upto a diagnostic machine....Phew it would appear that my guage is wrong!? The reading direct from the engine is about700RPM
