Just starting a complete rewire (new looms etc) of the vehicle.
I have bought part 502096 (3 pin), as i believe that is a replacement for the GFU107 (2 pin) listed in my parts book. My wiring diagram only uses 2 pins.
I thought i would test out the flasher before i tried connecting it.
I was expecting that if i connected the node "L" to positive on a 12v battery (a small one i use for testing) and i connected a test meter to
a) 1 of the other nodes, and
b) to earth on the battery
I would hear the ticker, and i would see the voltage alternate between 12v and zero.
But, depending which of the nodes i use, i get either a constant 12v or a constant zero.

I have tried testing every combination of pairs of nodes and i don't get something like a ticker.

Am i missing something?

You need 2 bulbs connected to make it work. Remember when one bulb blows, the rate changes. If i recall both bulbs blown and it won't flash at all
