I am looking to change my Throttle Potentiometer (potentially - no pun intended)...can't seem to find any vids or write-ups - is this a tricky job, I seem to recall somewhere someone suggesting it was a bit of a PITA to do?

Thanks...

The throttle potentiometer is the throttle pedal. This is an easy exchange:- Disconect the battery, unbolt the throttle pedal, unplug the pedal, plug in the new pedal, reattach with bolts, reconnect battery.
What is more involved is replacing the harness to the potentiometer (throttle pedal), recently an article in Land Rover monthly explains it well.

Thanks, I actually did the replacement loom thing, but good to know its a quick swap!

Is the potentiometer the diagnosis from your LR specialist?
Not exactly. I took it in to him and he's concluded that amongst other issues the ECU is faulty. They put another MSB in and it ran a LOT better. Also my ECU is producing lots of F codes rendering other tests impossible. I have a replacement ECU en route and once that's in we can investigate further. He does think it needs new injector washes and it's possible that the injector codes are incorrect. Also looking at a replacement throttle pedal as discussed.
