Sorry to bring up my old topic. But just a tiny bit more advice please anyone.

Just ordered light guards. Proper ones for the rear but opted for the "clip on" ones for the front. Purely because of the price difference, £75-90 for the screw in ones compared to £30 for clip ons and the advert says both types are just plastic anyway.

Anyone have any experience with these clip on ones? They look ok? They stay on?lol terrified a jet washer or high speeds/winds will blow em off.

Also, does anyone know if the lights/bulbs are easy to replace in the interior switches? Ie; the window switch, cigarette lighter, etc... At night they glow green but iv ordered the plasma dial kit and want to get all my interior lights blue

Have you bought that Haynes manual yet? It gives a difficulty 'spanner' rating for various jobs.

Also tell us where you have looked/searched for answers already.

Answers to what? How can I search for an answer to a question asking for people's opinion on light guards?

Sorry to anyone I'm annoying. Don't mean too.

Honestly didn't search for the first question regards the light guards as that was a personal question to anyone who knows first hand the difference and quality of the clip on front light guards.

The second question I asked about the interior lights I asked because iv spent all morning looking online to see if there are little lights or leds behind the switches that are swappable

Don't apologize, we're all irritating buggers on here.
When the right person comes along they will answer your questions.
BTW, you never did say where abouts in south Yorks you are.

Searching the subject you are concerned about may just give you a thread with other peoples experiences and opinions. We don't mind giving advice, but get weary of repitition. What may be a first question for you, is more often a well repeated one to us, hence the push for a search. If you have done so then telling us where will stop us giving advice you have already used.

A haynes manual ..... or downloading RAVE from this site..... will show you what is behind the dash and the how to access it. ;)
