Inspired by the recent top gear episode where they all built motorhomes I thought I'd have a go too.........

I would sleep in that, I really would, air bed and a door and we are off. Not sure what er indoors would say about it tho.
 
Would rather sleep in that than some tents I've seen! Have you tried turning it round and cutting away some of the floor to give a little more leg room?

Hehe..... might be a bit of a width issue it's 8ft by 6ft couldn't see out of the mirrors:D
 
Just needs some steps, door and a a window! You could start a business selling these to to Defender owners all over the world.

thats a good un but the person who gets the top bunk is gonna be rather draughty:eek::D
 
Not at all. The final production version will probably have a wood burning stove and satellite tv but no door is planned in order to keep a strong connection with the great outdoors.
