My grandma got her new disco stuck in 4 feet of snow in a car park when we had serious snow up here. She only uses it for the shops and doesn't even want to know how it works. It only took me about 2 minutes in the drivers seat flicking switches to drive it through forwards, I didn't even reverse out.
It was off road height, low ratio which activates anti stall (My favourite bit of kit ever), snow mode then feet off the pedals and just turn the steering wheel from left to right as it slowly but surely pulled itself through the snow back onto the road.
