called in a friends today came out wont start no warning lights or previous problems just turns over & over & over think me fuel pumps died a horrible death so phoned the 4th emergency service and he done the usual plug me in routine & guess what no codes & he cant fix it. so I wait another hr for a truck to collect it and deliver it to my good friend bob at hi-range so it looks like a trip to the bank Monday to lighten my balance.one good thing though me trusty old d1 300tdi fired up first crack after standing so atleast I have wheels:Dso any ideas on the price of a new fuel pump inc labour fitted ?

Do the work yourself and it'll only cost you the price of the pump (£170 ish) :D:D:D:D:D
makes sense ant but its already been dropped there because it needs prof diagnostics first incase its something else, im only guessing through prev experience tbh, I havnt got the time to be messing id rather just collect it back fixed whatever the problem/outcome:(did yours just fail with no signs ?

Yep, went to visit my parents, and 3 hours later, went to leave and it just refused to start....nothing on diagnostics, no faults, no previous issues...just all of a sudden gave up!
