Wouldn't touch a 4.6, 3.9 at max or a 3.5 stroked to 5.5 if not move onto chevy blocks etc

Big RR engines are pointless
 
When I did my 3.5 V8 into a 2a 88 conversion in about 1975 , i used a 2a HD 5 core rad slightly shortened to sit on top of front cross member, and cut away the ducting on the rear of front panel , as i wanted to retain headlamps in centre front panel. Remote oil filter, mocal oil cooler, used 3.5 flywheel drilled to take jag cover, diesel 2.25 friction plate and jaguar 3.8 cover (pressure plate) . cut and welded bulkhead to give clearance for ex manifolds . I used the 11a box and it handles it ok . Used 4.1 diffs and o/drive, 7.50 tyres and pto with Hyd winch. 6cyl 1 ton braking system complete. The clutch pedal was quite stiff , but never had any slip problems . HTSH
