woke up today and found a card on my windscreen 'looked like a genuine uk buyer seller untill i calld and said i wasnt intrested and it was a gypsy who anserd i am right to be paranoid ' he obvs seen that i take wheel off and gear stick off .. what do you think i should do as its on a public carpark

If he's seen what you take off, then I'm sure he could easily bring them with him to take it. But why would he give you the "heads up"?
I'd be tempted to fit a hidden fuel cutoff & pedal lock. Things they might not notice on a quick inspection.
The fuel cut off solenoid a allow the car to be started and driven a few yards (depending on its position on the fuel tubing) then will starve the car of fuel and they'll be forced to abandon it (hopefully).
There's also the option on a tow truck/flatbed theft though...not much you can do on a public car park....really loud alarm?!

A food quality steering wheel lock, and leave the vehicle with the steering on full lock, they can't drag it onto a beaver tail then, it would have to be lifted.....

Like hell they cant......

Well it does make it bloody awkward and slows it down..

It's about deterrents ,

Most vehicles are stolen as they are easy pickings the more deterrents ya have the less likely they are going to be stolen...

who is.... ???

Anyway.. i was looking in to trackers a short while ago..
They are very good as have them myself.. and even if ya battery dies while its parked up ya get a text and a phonecall to say there has been a power down..
I found this on a 4x4 site....

if you go to GPS Tracker The tracker is normaly priced at £249.00, but If you enter discount code
mac4x4 the purchase price is reduced to £124.00
There is a monthly subscription charge of £6.99 this can also be paid annualy at £74.00
The site also says they will transfer the tracker from vehicle to vehicle free of charge !!!!

got somethink i might do just for tonite park it at my mums ........ take all 4 wheels and spare put them in house.. steering wheel off gear stick out .... drop it on 4 axle stands .. park both my dads autos 1 in front and 1 at side .. hope this works or evan slows them down
