Just about everything that is operated by electricity, or so it seems, not just the sport. I sometimes wonder if the majority of range rovers are actually very reliable and only the few unreliable ones are owned by LZ members and that is why they joined the forum. If everyone of them was as unreliable as these pages suggest, surely the company would have gone bust years ago unless of course the majority of their customers can afford to replace them every 3 years.

I don't know the first thing about this particular breast so I'll just say the same that applies to any vehicle your not familiar with.
Check past mot history
When you go to look at it, try and take someone familiar with the model if possible
Check every button, setting etc works as intended
If there's anything that the owner 'hasn't got round to', think hard about it and why they left it
Look at service history for a feel of whether it's been looked after or just fixed when it broke down

Yeah i mean you go to the forum when your car plays up so ‍♂️ Yeah so need to be wary about the electrics. Obviously I know the basics but I was wondering if the model has any common faults which I need to check if I was going to buy one.

Not being a rangie owner I can't off specific advice but I will advise to budget for one of them diagnostic things. Nanocom or somat. Apparently it will save you a fortune in the long run and they are easy to sell if you get rid of the car. I envy you looking for your next car, it's very enjoyable.

Yeah it is relatively enjoyable! Been fixing up another car to sell on , the profits of that will go towards the “landyfund” as we’ve set up - I mean the search has been on and off for the past 3 years so the excitement has been up and down! :D

a diagnostic tool is a no-brainer, even if you don't want to do repairs yourself it will save you the cost at the garage and you have an idea what the problem might be before you get there. They're not cheap, but doesn't take many trips to the garage to make it pay for itself

On the v6's they need to have had the up rated front cover as it Is a week point and when it goes takes out the engine, and v6 is also known to spin the crank bearings and snap the crank with out warning.

Wheel arches at the rear, behind the doors. If they rusting on the outside they'll be rusting on the inside as well...
