Evening all,

well, Disco was running fine when I parked it up on Friday night - Saturday morning, off to work, turned the key and discovered that I was now the owner of a Sherman tank!!
Turns out that our local "campers" have had it away with the CAT off my exhaust (Rozza's tell me that 4 have been nicked in my area on same night).
So, i'm going to fit a de-cat pipe - URGENTLY (cant get to work as I live in the sticks).
Question is do I need the one with the flexi or not?
Any speedy advice would be appreciated.

i think its the same as the defender pipe and about £15 to buy but not sure about the flexi.

two types - defender & disco. as said disco one has flexi, but defender fits - yu might need to remove the gearbox xmember tho.

Get the defender equivalent, part no from memory ESR 2297 from Paddocks about £15 +vat.

When you come to fit it - jack up the chassis (not the axle) as high as you dare, gives loads more working room and makes the job dead easy.

Do the diesel filters have any value? Didn't think they did...

If they are known to be diesel catalysts, then certainly round here they have no value at all. I've got at least for of them behind my shed and can't get shot of 'em.

Ditto. I wish these guys had 'removed' mine for me before I fitted the straight through pipe.
