How screwed am I?
Iv got a new heater valve. But I cannot seem to find the bypass or the adapter for the valve

Help!

The adapter is only a piece of turned hexagon bar.

Removing the broken heater valve thread may be possible with a screw extractor. I frequently have to remove broken hydraulic fittings around that size at work.

I got rid of my heater valve completely. I fitted a 90 degree pipe elbow in its place. Maybe this could be an option for you?

Trouble is I can't seem to undo it from the housing. Even after using a blow torch the hex piece wouldn't have it at all so I'm probably better off replacing that too

The heater valve has always been a completely redundant part if you think about it.
If hot coolant flowed round the heater matrix for eternity you wont get any warmth through to the cab unless you switch the fan on.
Not only have I removed the operating cable and cab control slide, I have the valve in the open position year round.
