Can you get a thermometer put in so I can have an idea of what the outside temp is? I had one in my old car and really miss it with having horses as the freelander doesnt have one :(

Also would a garage have to fit it?

Thankyou

Outside Temp Gauge!!?? ................... about as useful as aircon in a Series 1!! ..............or a foghorn in a Vouge!! ............ or seatbelts on a motorbike!!

Check my last post on the thread - Display Fault? re thermometer etc.

Maybe over the top for you - but have a look.

So does mine :)

No its not original - its from ebay and fitted in place of the original clock :)

Are they essy to fit? It shows the time ok but wheres the temp? Not i dont believe you

My photo is rubbish  The temp is in the bottom right of the display and yes its easy to fit but i needed to do a bit of soldering to fit it into the recess.

Link on here to ebay -

The plug in adapter that is designed to go into your cigarette lighter I fitted into the recess behind the clock then soldered the wires onto the circuit board of the thermometer itself

Nice bit of kit and cheaper than replacing the origional clock. Think one of these will be going on my chrissy list.

OO most helpful thankyou - does it fit into the same hole the old clock came out of? I thought it would be a freelander specific model or something?

Yes it fits in place of the normal clock :)

I must try and do a how-to at some point
