I think my car turns into a Mercedes and yes a old lady asked me already if it is a Mercedes.

Both rear wheel arches are starting to get a bit rusty. Luckily it isn't to late yet and I can get a rid of it when I do the Front bumper and the mirrors.

Is it a common problem or is it just me?

Common on the L322.....

The P38 was the only relatively rust proof Range Rover.

I have a simular problem, but mine is on both sides between the inner shield and the sill which looks like a definate water trap. I've had a push and gentle prod, but mine will be removed with a wire cup brush, then treated and painted, once the weather gets better.

Mine isn't rusting like the one pictured...

I have only had a couple of flaky patches at the bottom of the doors.

What year is that car ?

+1 I've seen a handful of L322 with tin worm issues - nothing like as bad as a classic (my two year old classic was already rusting!) but certainly not as good as the p38 in this respect, which is remarkably rust resistant.
