Nice to see your safe and well bob.

It’s my Freelander. Inherited it when my dad snuffed it. I have to admit I’m very happy here thanks. Fellow Freelander owners to chat to and swap ideas for fixes etc. Also nice to see the trattor boys here too. Ready and willing to help as ever. Freelandering is the way forward. You of all people should know that bob. Tis the best selling 4x4 after all.

that depends on the weather and my daughter.

I used to drive a freelander, but it was crap, so I sold it and got an X-Trail - much more reliable. Then I got a series , but I found it difficult to drive it in winter whilst wrapped up in a blanket, so I bought a disco, then another disco. If its nice weather tho, i drive the ford - why?

Just wondering. From what I've seen on here your very helpful with Freelander faults. Knowledgeable on the usual faults Freelanders have and often know the fix, or can link to the last time it was covered.

You could have been a closet Freelander fan like bob is…

i was a freelander fan - just had it beaten out of me :(. Dont get me wrong they are good looking cars - one of the best looking SUV's - its a pity the design was poor and the build terribly executed - a hippo body with jap mechanics would be a brilliant car in its market

Should have got your f****ng old dog to do it then lol.

Regarding previous posts - I can take a joke but many of these comments on here are not jokes (like the above) & there seems to be a minority on here that are just total idiots
Oi its not the minority!
What a jumped up knobber with a gash mota, hope a bird ****s on it after eatingvery acidic berrys and oyster shells

:hysterically_laughi

you got a freebie.....

:hysterically_laughi

sorry to hear bout yers family stuff.

:hysterically_laughi at least ya never paid for it!!!!

dont think freebies come in at my max limit on landy buys (500 quids)

it has gone a bit beyond the "**** take" and "friendly banter" and does seem a bit like gang rape

My post detailing address etc is freely available info, I'm of the view that someone who blatantly uses their new car to advertise their business and also goes after discovery drivers=fair game.

While I have banter with most, couldn't afford it and better than the rest of us spam is toss.

So as I have said what I think and nothing more to add

I wasnt having a go at you - everyone has a go every now and again. we dont have to get on with each other, but when a group has a go at one peep, then i find that a bit unfair.
nuff said.

:hysterically_laughiyou got a freebie.....
Yep. 2001 v6 es 5 door in dark blue. Runs ok and takes me off road too.

sorry to hear bout yers family stuff.
Nearly thought you had a heart then. Personally I thought it was a good swap. One dead git in exchange for a 2200 mile Freelander. If I'd of known he was about to snuff it, by eating too many fry ups, I'd of asked him to hold on a few years for a Freelander 2. Perhaps even a D3. Lifes a bitch.

Bob if your ever short of cash to buy a new motor, I'm sure your LandyZone friends on here would be more than willing to have a wip round for you. None of us would want to see you going without. A friend in need and all that. Whats life for if you can't help others. If we could collectively raise £1000 to go with your £500, then I'd personally stump up the remaining £500 to make £2000. For that sort of money you could easily pick up a 1.8 Freelander. If yer lucky even an early v6 model Freelander. No need to worry about faults as we've all got that covered. Plenty of threads on here with advice.
