Just saw the video of it on YouTube and I'm a bit underwhelmed. It just looks like a slightly larger version of the Disco Sport.
Any thoughts about it?

When I think "Discovery" I see a vehicle capable of and suitable for this.
I don't feel the same about the new one so far although it will be very capable and nice to drive.

The modern discos look too much like they are designed to appeal to confirmed bachelors and women with rich husbands.
Well it didn't make me think 'want one!' when I saw it, but will be interesting to see it in the flesh and get a better idea of the proportions etc.It does look like a scaled up Disco Sport, but then I suppose that's to keep the family resemblance (or they ran out of ideas!). Reminds me of a Saab 9-5 estate on steroids....
I wasn't a fan of the D3/4 when they first appeared, looked to me like it was just missing the gun turret on top, but they have grown on me and now I quite like them for their slab sided look.
