I'm on the brink of a full rebuild on my 1983 110 which will involve a respray of the body. However, on the side of the car is large Land Rover sticker which I'm not sure if its original or not but which I would quite like to keep/replace after the painting as part of the car. I've never seen this sticker anywhere else on cars or for sale online, if anyone can shed some light on this mystery I would be very grateful!!

Annoying........................... I've seen one of those recently, but as I'm getting on a bit, can't for the life of me remember where. I have been browsing ebay so maybe I think it was there - have a look, IIRC [which is unlikely] it was on a landy for sale - good luck

Even if you remove it, chances are you will see its outline in the new paint

Take your panel to a sticker manufacturer/vehicle signwriter and they will re-produce it.

Update: It was covering up an old Welsh Fire Service Logo. Interesting hidden past!

Only thing is that sticker has no background colour ie it's clear except for the writing and oval border.
