having repaired a burst ACE pipe over xmas without too much difficulty, so feeling quite pleased with myself i ordered a EGR blanking plate off e-bay. this morning being the first chance i've had i thought i would fit it ... no problems at all,very simple and straight forward..
then as i turn to pull out of my drive the rear seat gets covered with water from what i can only imagine is a leaky s/r seal..
DOES IT EVER STOP!!!
having now cleaned and re-seated the seal lets see what this weeks rain will bring !!!
i will post later in week results of EGR and water ingress...rant over, Si

fitted egr kit to my 300tdi auto last week its like driveing a diffrent mottor,next on the list (after replaceing two knacered tyers) is to get rid of the cat, any one none this and were is a good place to get the pipe?

Which Nick is that then? I used to know someone who did MOTs who always failed cars on brake pipes. We called him Nick Brake Pipe.

different nick mate, just some prick who spends most of his time in the pub in holyhead, cant remember the name of it but its the small green on on the main rd through the city centre, mate of my uncles "my mate nick said" just a 2 bobs worth kind of guy who i am going to fook over one day for triying to make me look like a prick when a business deal went sour. now known as "nick the prick"

latest news.. after egr blank fitted motor seems more spritely..result!!
out today after rains and leak through front sunroof winder handle, what a pain in the "damp" arse!!!
2 years in a 200 series, no problems
40k in a 300 series with only a clutch arm failure "no sunroofs!!"
2k in td5 and its treading very thin ice!!!!!!!!!!!
