I'm thinking of restoring my range rover, it's a 1989 on a F reg in blue, but this particular range rover was once owned by three gangsters in Essex in the early 90's... On december 6th 1995, patrick Tate, tony tucker and craig Rolfe were shot dead with 12 bore shotguns whilst sat inside this range rover on a remote farm track in rettendon, Essex. I bought the range rover back in 2001 and it's been sat in my yard ever since, I bought it from the insurance company for £2000 with the intensions of putting a interior in it and selling it on but after doing some reasearch on the car, it started 2 freak me out. I've read things like in the summer months you can smell rotting flesh, the only part of the interior the police left was the dashboard and that's what I think that smells....... It's kind of freaky, do you think I should restore it?? And btw the full registration is F424 NPE

I think that's what I'm going to do, I've heard it's a pretty famous rangey, they made three films about the murders

I heard that freak from heavy metal band slipknot collects murder cars like ted bundys vw bug etc.

personally I think thats tasteless and I dont like that band, however he is loaded and may give you plenty for it if you could get in touch.

if so I want 10% for the idea :D

I think I'm gonna keep the rangey, I'm gonna have a look at it today, it needs taking out of the bushes that surround it

My mate owned it and sold it to Pat Tate
We used it when we used to repo cars
Ithink it should have been crushed
But its up to you

Id have **** all to do with and crush it. the smell will never go no matter how much you clean it.

on the plus side the door sills were in good nick in the picture.

If you look on the pictures wen it done up on the video, you can see the door hinges and this particular range rover was the old shape and you could see the door hinges so it looks like some bastards cloned mine
