stanage edge probbably does need closing. The lane its self is rock so not eroding particularly quick but the surrounding approached is dogged to ****. Dunno why stanage is probbably one of the most technically challenging lane ive driven. But its shame full on the approach, all the off piste tracks.

Thank you for your comments to the consultation on the Authority’s proposal for a traffic regulation order at The Roych.



Before any decision is taken whether to proceed with the making of a traffic regulation order, the consultation responses will be considered by the Authority’s Audit Review and Performance Committee. When the date of the Committee meeting is identified this will be shown on TRO consultations: Peak District National Park Authority



Please note that your response will form part of the background papers to the report and will be made available for public inspection in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Access to Information Act 1985.



The Authority currently operates a procedure that allows individuals or organisations to address members at meetings of the committee. Details of this procedure can be obtained from Democratic Services at: democraticservices@peakdistrict.gov.uk



Details of the notice of proposal, the proposed order, a statement giving the reasons for the order and a map showing the extent of the proposed restrictions are available at Consultations: Peak District National Park Authority or to view at Aldern House, Baslow Road, Bakewell, DE45 1AE from 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday (closed Bank and Public Holidays and closed at 3pm on Christmas Eve).

Any one watch Tales from the national parks on bbc 4 last night. All about the Peaks and green lanes.
This shows the mentality of the people we are up against.
Millions of miles of footpaths and bridle ways and they want to shut all boat's.

Yeah I'm good, you get around.
Think it's a new programme, there is more to follow but don't think they are about the Peaks.
This one just caught my eye as they are trying to get vehicles banned

this is on again on thursday night at 0010 just sky+ it, should make for an entertaining watch although ill prob be at boiling point by the end! :mad:
 
it was on a few weeks ago anorl.

when the green lanes have overgrown with vegetation no-one will be able to use these ROADS:(
 
Had my reply from long causeway today. Wierd they were a couple of days apart.
 
yup got a reply from both the other day, although they were worded exactly the same just different names, and also watched the derbyshire lanes programe on bbc 4 what a bunch of what i thought selfish people! those 4x4 blokes were trying to do the right thing and help where they could and were basicly told we dont want your help the best hepl would be to clear off!......im sorry but i thought this was a free country!? :mad:
