...it, I've procrastinated for too long about buying a Defender so am off to buy one as soon as possible.

Need to make sure it will fit in my garage which has 68 inches of clearence or look for a garage to let. I'm after a 90 around the £4k mark so I'm guessing A reg to F reg. Can anyone with one of these tell me how tall they are? Specs on the net are all for new Defenders.

Mine is 74 inches from ground to top of the roof rack and I've got alloy wheels. So I'm thinking that 66 to 67 inches high is about right. You'll never be able to change a tire in your garage, but you'd better bring a measuring tape with you or plan on keeping it in the drive!

Excellent! I have to put new doors on the garage but I thought a new roof would be stretching it a bit.

my garage door is 72inches and the disco wont fit.
its even worse cause my drive is a short steepish uphill.
another job to do, when the sun comes out.
raise the door 12 inches and put an ally fillet at the bottom, perhaps?

My '89 90 fits quite well in my garage. I get most of it in through the 6' x 3' side door!
