.... you know the one .... the one that sidts on the dashboard, supposedly to stop items from sliding about if you place them on it ..... BUT all it seems to do is slide around itself if you take a corner or roundabout a bit quickly.

Anyone got a solution to it please, I tried to use double sided tape on it tonight but it just refuses to stick to the rubber.

How has others solved it, well apart from slowing down a bit more or throwing the bl@@dy thing away.

Mine has never moved. Have you got it in the right way round? There is a wrong and a right way, the wrong way round and it'll slide around.

Try a couple of 3" nails.

they usually move around because a dashboard cleaner has been used like cockpit shine,where it is a matt finish,mine dosent move at all,maybe a good scrub with a detergent then clean water(sparingly!) might help? there is matt finish cleaners out there,halfrauds sell it.

Slow down and corner less harshly !

Its a luxuary cruser not a bloody raley car
But it you insist on chucking it about try some bostick or like above a drop or two of super glue just remember you dont need so much you could hang the car from it just enough to stop a rubber mat sliding about

^^^What he said.

Don't use silicone based cleaners on your dash if you want the mat to stay put. Mine doesn't move at all, I just give the dash a wipe down with a damp microfibre cloth once a week to keep it clean.

Even though Wammers suggestion of 3" nails is tempting I think I will give the couple of spots of superglue a try, thanks for the suggestions.

I am also a member of a couple of motorcycle sites and you learn very quickly to be able to take the p!$$ with others as well as having it taking with yourself.

It's a lot better than sites that are purely technical help sites without the fun element.
