I have been a silent member since I got my 2004 td4 freelander in Aug, by silent I mean, I used the search function for all my queries :) So far with your help I have managed to bypass the egr, switch the pcv to the bmw one and change the bulbs to nightbreakers. No easy feat for me as I would never have dreamt of tackling these jobs by myself without your guidance. So I would like to thank everyone for their continued support as no doubt I'll be in and out of this forum as time goes on lol.
Car is away for its MOT today... wish me luck!!!

good luck my 2006 td4 hse sailed through and no ads as well but my wifes 1800 1998 due in at the end of next month ,but before that me and the faithfull son in law are going to change the back brake shoes, and all of the rear bushes, and the handbrake cables, so quite a bit to do, just waiting for a bit of good weather our garages (5) are to full of stuff to get it done in there, but i do have a gazebo just in case.

Guys, the MOT for a Fleabag is no different than for any other car - a well prepared car should sail thru. With exception of emissions perhaps, you can check everything yourself, so no big surprises.

Agreed, and thats exactly what happened :D cleaned up brake pipes, freed off siezed caliper and freed off brake shoe adjuster and got my handbrake back, fitted new wiper blades and off she went, back with no advisories.
