Hi All.

On Friday I used the RR a lot, lots of running around trailer on, trailer off,
Across some fields. On road/off road.

Parked up at the end of the day ready for another busy day on Saturday.

I took a call, just as I was finishing and that was patched through the car Bluetooth. I didn't give it another thought.

Saturday morning and.......flat battery.
Quick check confirmed 9.2V.
On with the CTECK and 24hrs later, the battery is ready to go.

Started RR.
Then I could see I was in for some fun.
Fuel gauge not working and air sus inactive note on the 'panel of death'.

Out with the RSW Allcoms.

I worked quietly through each menu and cleared all faults, I think there must have been at least 6.

There is one however that has not cleared

Can bus fault in the air suspension menu. Although everything now is back to normal with no error messages on the 'panel of death'.

Gents, I'll review this Can bus fault another time or see maybe if in time/miles it resets goes away.

The moral of the story of course is, please gents/ladies, if you have one of these cars, you NEED diagnostics.

Best wishes and happy Christmas.

Steering full left lock then full right lock needed after a flat battery methinks.

Was gonna say the same thing....the Canbus Fault in the EAS ECU is usualy caused by a ABS system issue...chiefly the steering angle reset..

And yes, diagnostics a must on any Range Rover regardless of flavour!

Personally, I think LR should include a Faultmate with every new L405, Sport, Ejoke, Gaylander etc. In fact if I were ever in the market for a new one I would insist.:)

One of the best buys I've made was the allcomms. but even other motors are the same messing with the daughters seat arosa had to borrow a mates vagcom to sort it.
