Hi All, finally got round to fitting the lift kit I bought ages ago this weekend and wow what a difference. Was really easy to fit and have now got rid of the old airbags which were pretty perished so wouldn't have been long before they started leaking anyway.

The truck now sits really flat and really stable. All the old bushes were worn out but it now handles the road great and would recommend it to anyone considering.

Even got time for a wash and polish!!!

Nice looking motor.fitted mine earlier this year, car so much nicer to drive.i had the heavy duty springs on the back as i tow a caravan.big difference now towing with the old gear removed.going for a body lift soon.

But forgot to say anyone local to hook Hampshire with nanocom etc could they help me out as the system keeps beeping because it no longer has the airbags!!

yes

Oakleypilot has a Hawkeye -disco2 td5
thomascledan has a nanocom for dico2 - td5

Hi...was there a height difference between right and left rear spring? I fitted similar kit and car sits lower on left by 1-2cm - I'm thinking there was a difference in spring height

Thanks mad hat man shall I pm them?

Yea the springs are sided and they have labels as to which side they should be fitted!!

i did wonder about that. better turn them the right way round.

as far as the ride is concerned its just better in every way compared to the worn out standard stuff. not sure how much difference this would make?
