its been proper pisching down here in Argyll, and I’m worried about the amount of leaks on the landy, has anybody used of these things.....I think it might be my only solution until I can get her sealed up properly

A friend uses one to overwinter her series, water when frozen will jack holes every where ....

The trick with a landy is to drill a few more holes so the the rain that leaks in, leaks out again.

And don't drive through water deeper than your axle centres ....

I’m seriously considering drilling holes. Or moving back to Spain....

There's a water ingress dofah on here somewhere, it'll help get your head around where the stuff gets in ...

Thanks very much! I’ll have a look! It’s coming in through the clutch pedal box and somewhere under the windscreen then dripping off the frame adjustment bolt...I’ve not bothered that much with leaks in other Landys I’ve had but this ones a minter and has been bone dry for all it’s life...I got it when we lived in Spain....

Some panel joins, floor to pedal re enforcing plate become mud traps ... take the carpet and underlay up, look for obvious, dust with talc ... watch for water tracks ...

Good luck mate finding where the leaks are coming from even Land Rover PLC gave that book up as admittance. Wear more wet weather gear and a diver wet suit when travelling.

How do you fasten them down for high winds.

I got one as temp workshop, it wasn't big enough and sent it back.

Nice idea those zapp things, but not enuf space. Sadly. Also Mrs Fatrover would do her nut and probably threaten divorce.

You can drill them into concrete with appropriate screws or ground anchors for earth, grass etc, augmented with sand bags etc. I think.

I had one it was well fastened down but the noise inside in high winds made working impossable
