Guys i had 1 rear parking sensor replaced 3 months ago on my 55 plate HSE. Now i am getting the constant beep again from the rear flagging another problem again .Or is it . Did not drive it for a week and it seemed to have reset / cured itself . But this lasted for only a couple of days and then i got the dreaded constant beep again. Any idea's anyone ?????

Have you cleaned any mud or dirt from the face of the sensor ?

Have you read the handbook on how to check which sensor has the 'fault' ?

Check the wires for rubbing... get down and listen for which sensor goes 'click' the silent one is the dead one ... if none click check fuse ...

Swap dead sensor for known good one, if still not working could be wiring or earth fault ...

Remember they won't work with the handbrake on, leave it in reverse and ignition on for them to be 'active' ...

FANKS FOR THE TIPS AND VIDEO DIPPYPUD. THE SENSORS ARE CLEAN . MY BET IS THERE IS SOME WIRE CHAFFING GOING ON AS YOU SUGGESTED BECAUSE ALL THE SENSORS WOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED 3 MONTHS AGO WHEN THE VEHICLE WENT IN FOR THE ORIGONAL SENSOR FAULT. CHEERS BUD I WILL CHECK IT OUT AT THE WEEKEND.

If you have someone nearby with a diagnostic to check it out maybe it'll hold a fault code. Used one on my fl2 recently and identified a faulty sensor..
