hi any ideas my temp/ petrol dials on my swb series3 keep going off then suddenly start to work again so please any ideas ?

I'm not an experienced landy bloke, however bl vehicles have a voltage stabilser on the back of the speedo or multi clock (temp and fuel unit), with 3 1/4 spade connectors, check the connections to this,from memory the female terminal has 10 volts on it, if this fails it'll stop both clocks from working.

I changed the Voltage Regulator and checked the earths on the engine bay side of the bulkhead and all worked fine
