Same as mine except earlier when it went off the end after the belt decided to shred itself ...... off to find help now

Mine mostly sits at around 10 to or 5 to 12.

It will reach 12 o clock when the outside temp is perhaps 8c and above.

My thermostat is not great so generally the needle sits at 10. It climbs to 11 on a long uphill section. It never gets to 12. Torque shows temps between 60 and 75°C.

Mine was mostly between 10 and 11 o'clock, rising to nearly 12 if I drove up the Eiger in first. Changed the thermostat and now it reaches bang-on 12 inside about 3 miles and my feet start to smoke. Improved fuel consumption and engine sounds better too.

Thats good to hear, my pre face lift used to sit at 9 0'clock dead on half way.
So the face lift sitting just under halfway is the norm

12 o'clock .. or a smidgen 'to'
@ current w.yorks ambient temps. .. 5c / 8c aprox. daytime noon-ish
engine coolant temp ..78c / 79c on the flat - 80c / 81c uphill
ran about 1c cooler when ambient temps were closer to freezing
ran about 81c / 83c mid-summer temps .. bit more on uphill runs ..

coolant temp reading from a ' scangauge II ' ....
