Services my Landy diesel on Monday and since then the temp gauge has been in the red but I don't think the engine is overheating. At a loss as to what it might be. My electrical knowledge is zilch!!!
The engine is running sweet as a nut. Cleaned all the wiring and the gauge worked well for an hour or so. I have a new sender as the old one will move from cold to normal to hot and then to cold again and never sit in the same position for long enough.
Ran into a similar problem with the sender in my 110. Check the seating of the tab on the crimp on top of the sender - if it is loose the resistances can be all over the patch. That had to be the only electrical problem i ever fixed on a landy with a mallet and a pin punch.
