Sorry to post it like this but I am looking to get in touch with Eddie and know he regularly posts on the Freelander forum, but don't have any contact details for him. Bought a mount off him at Talke last year and wanted to discuss them.
Cheers, Carl

hi I am here and we will be going back into production next week as I have had a new knee and it has taken some getting over with infections so I have had to be very careful
also where have you been MHM and what has happened to hippo

hippo is on fb - and i am only on here infrequently now.

I was in touch with hippo and he's been busy, but he did say he'd been working on some new stuff for here and was making some videos.

a very good Q - best to ask BB

It's obviously because of too many/not enough trolls and banter.....too light/heavy handed moderation....right wing ranting/leftie PC liberal suppression....

The only thing anyone agrees on is it probably my fault

Difficult to say really, people come and go naturally of course and you yourself Daft have gone through at least two periods of not posting much in the past as have I.

The format changeover seemed to lose us far more regulars than anyone expected though whether that's an actual cause or more a catalyst I don't know though numbers of regular log ins are building again.

Most I've spoken to say they've had enough of never ending humourless political posts but it's not really a large enough group to draw any definitive conclusions.

I blame the lack of cake

Must admit I only look on the Freelander section now because some of the other sections got too bitchy to be fun any more.
Even though there's no cake here either.

Maybe no cake but now i got used to the new forum format and like it. :)

However i think all forums reach the point where the same old problems come up time and time again.............and this tends to bore people a bit

I suppose even a Land Rover can only have so many faults before they repeat ......................

My daughter, passing through on her way back to London took a detour today to drop me off homemade carrot cupcakes :D:D:D

Must've done something right :)

You don't know what she put in them yet! Make sure she thinks all money (and the Landy) goes to charity :)

My daughter took me to see Macbeth last night. I've obviously been a bad dad.

Macbeth? She probably meant well.....you should have asked if there was a cake alternative :D

lol, funny you should say that, cos she works for Giesen Wines. They've just taken over as principal sponsor of the theater where the production was, so it was a freebie thrown for their workers and families. Everyone got there an hour before the start for lots of free wine, beer & food - more at the interval plus free ice creams :)

here is my new knee though I would let you all take a look, this is what happens when you get old and have had a rough life
