Hi

First post so please go easy on me if/when I'm an idiot!

I am newly a proud owner of a 2006 TDV8. Only concern so far is that it has 295/40/20 wheels on it (yes, 295!). From what I've seen on various websites the normal 20" wheels for the TDV8 are 255/55/20.

Should I be concerned?? Should I change them?? Should I be shouting at the dealer who sold me the car with them on it?? Are they likely top be rubbing something unhealthy every time I drive?? etc etc

Any comments and thoughts gratefully received.:)

That doesn't sound overly wide - I've got 265s on my 110 and I always thought the new Rangies had far wider tyres than the BFGs. Might be wrong though - had a quick scout on LRs website and they mention 255.

The only way to find out if they rub is to take it out for a drive don't you think?

I haven't heard or felt anything strange while driving but, the tyres on it are fairly bald. Before I lay out a fortune for 4 new ones, wanted to know if I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get some more normal (255 as you say) wheels too!

they standard wheels?Sound a bit drug dealerish to me but if yer happy with em why change em?
