I had mine changed on the L322 using Lifeguard 8 , in the end I decided that the correct oil useage over the course of 80K miles or 9 Years merited using the correct grade, plus it is still under warranty.

Cheers

can see the reason then if it’s still under warranty in using the lifeguard atf

must admit very impressed with the 6 x speed, tempted by a D4 , however my next landy will more than likely be another D3 with the Jag 4.4 V8

have been looking around but alas junk so far

Oooh, going petrol. its the future you know.

still not the same performance as the L322 TDV8 4.4 though..LOL

Cheers

I can certainly believe that mate with the L322 , see some of the RR are tuned 500bhp plus

just looked at the TDV8, wow, 131mph

must admit wouldn’t ever do over a ton in a 4x4 , it’s the what IF’s , think my TDV6 is around 110mph

thing I like coming from the previous TD4 to a 2.7 is the smoothness and power of the V6 , be it climbing hills, or overtaking on motorways etc , also very impressed with the ZF transmissions

heard good things about the Jag 4.4 for power, smoothness etc

So long as you are older than me (50) that is all that matters!

I'd probably take the same route under the same circumstances.
Our daily is 22 years old with 150k on the clock though ;)
