Hello, my L322 Td6 has a problem

First 3 gears work fine, no slipping, full acceleration. 4 and 5th gears are slipping, only shifting with gentile throttle or in manual mode. It feels like a slipping clutch in a manual transmission. New oil makes it better, before there was no acceleration in 4 or 5th, now its little bit better so you can drive with 10-20 % throttle without slip. More throttle = Trans Fail Safe program

Is this the typical Torque Lock Clutch problem or something with the transmission?

Thank you!

These gearboxes are known to give up unfortunately. If there are metal fragments in the oil this will confirm the torque converter has shed and poisoned the gearbox and it's oil circulation system. Usually a recon box and torque converter with an oil circuit flush would be needed. 😬

Plus a Sonnax valve block
