Hi guys, I am curious if anyone has figured out how to get around this issue, I have a L322 2003 been working good with normal issues, but now she has this electrical noise coming from the nonedrive side door speaker.

Almost sounds like a constant short, a Brrrp(repeatedly) and once key goes into ignition it does a calculation sound almost and a big pop and than it's sorted.

Seems like sound system/alarm shorting out.

All fuses have been checked, haven't checked relays but they have been replaced and shouldn't be the issue.

When I sit in the kar and it's making the sounds when I press the lock key now and then it makes a Gzz sound, faint but I can hear it.

What would I need to do to check what's the cause ?

Look for water ingress in the electronics in the left rear quarter behind the trim. Water in the electronics is a common problem causing corrosion in the connectors and other damage.

Incar paddling pools were never a good idea and it seems BMW thought it was🤭
Go straight for the rear wing interiors. This is where a lot of the sound controls are housed. 👍

Where would the water come on, so it Is wet under the back seat, so I put some news paper down to start absorbing a few hours at a time, but it is from back door seals that causes that to come in there ?

The seems between the roof and body sides are a good call. Also check the rear lower wheel arches for rust inside and from underneath. It can be terminal or expensive to put right 😵‍💫
